As for the game itself, we received a few questions lately and decided to put together a small FAQ section to help resolve them.

 Dungeon Fighter Kickstarter FAQ 

  •  How many packs of sleeves do I need for my games? 

A single sleeve pack is enough to protect one of the themed boxes (with few extra sleeves to spare). You’ll need 2 packs of sleeves to protect the free Second Edition core box you received in addition to your pledge items. Lastly, to completely protect the Collector's Edition, you'll need a total of 6 packs.


  • How do I separate the cards from each themed box if I mixed them together?

The cards from each box are marked either with a special symbol, a themed frame, or a colour-matching icon. For example, the Catacombs of Gloomy Ghosts box has a “ghost” icon on Bosses/Equipments/Heroes, a spooky purple frame on each Monster card, and purple shop icons on each Dungeon card.

You can use these visual cues to easily separate back the cards from each box if you mixed them together for your custom dungeon experience!

  • How can you fit the 4 pieces of the Flying Stand back into the box?

  • Where to put the cardboard, plastic and metal tokens in the Collector box?  

You can use both the space under the Heroes sheet and the space near it for the big shapes and the tokens. Metal coins etc can be stored in the space under the Bone Chopsticks:

Fulfilment starts!

Hello Heroes,

we're almost at the end of our amazing adventure! Let's have a quick recap of what's going on:


USA and Canada stock went through custom last week and was released quickly, so we expect it to be delivered during the next two weeks to Quartermaster Logistics, our US hub. Once it gets there, fulfilment starts!


EU (and rest of the world) stock was delivered last week to Fulfilment Europe and we've been informed that fulfilment starts today! 


Asia, New Zealand and Australia fulfilment started a couple of weeks ago, and most of the packages were shipped out already by our hub CFC fulfilment. We had few issues with Japanese custom documentation and we're investigating it at the moment: even if your tracking shows that the package was returned don't worry, and rest assured you'll get your pledge once we solve this issue!


FULFILMENT FAQ

Since this isn't our first rodeo, we decided to do a FAQ on the fulfilment process.


Was my package shipped?

You'll receive an email with the tracking number as soon as your order gets processed by the hub. As usual, make sure to check your spam folder!


I’m a backer from [insert country] and didn’t receive the game yet!

There’s no way around it, fulfilment is a long process. It involves a lot of items being sorted, packed, checked and double checked before the package can even start to be shipped out. Our hubs are working hard to get you all your rewards, but patience is needed in this phase. You’ll get a tracking notification as soon as the hub is ready to ship out your package.


I’m a backer from [insert country] and didn’t even receive the email notification!

This just means that your package is still in preparation and it hasn’t been shipped yet. You’ll get a tracking notification as soon as the hub is ready to ship it out. We hope it’ll be soon enough!


...but that backer from [my same country] said they already received the game!

It takes several days to ship out packages, even more for countries with many backers. Unfortunately there is no magical "Ship everything!" button that can instantly fling all the boxes out of the warehouse at the same time… Even if our hubs constantly assure us they’re working on it!


My tracking notification says it is delivered but it’s not!

First of all, don’t panic. Couriers are doing their best, considering the worldwide situation, but the whole package delivering thing is still more complicated than usual these days. Wait a few days, and in the meantime reach out to your country’s Post Service to see if they have more information about your package. If they cannot give you more information, send us an email at [email protected] and we’ll reach out to the Hub. Rest assured, we’ll do our best to get you your package.


I got my game but something is damaged / missing / mispacked!

For any problem you might have with your pledge, please send us an email at [email protected]. Make sure to include your full name, address, phone number and some pictures of the problem. We’ll see what we can do and ship out the replacements if needed once the fulfilment is complete.

Shipment Update: almost there!

Hello heroes!


Here's a quick update on the situation of both ships. The EU shis is currently running (cruising?) a bit late, it is expected to reach the port around June 30. The stock is flagged for full Custom inspection, it means the container will be open and unloaded at Custom directly, checked and then loaded on a truck. It might take a bit more than previously expected to get it delivered to Fulfilment Europe for the final fulfilment, but we're monitoring the situation.


The US/CA ship is expected to reach the destination port around JULY 14, it's roughly a week late on the initial forecast but nothing that worrying, as we said before sea shipment hardly has definite timing, too many variables.


As for the Asian and Australian fulfilment, since the stock is already at the warehouse, we should be able to start it around next week! Please note that mainland Chinese addresses will need to be inserted in traditional Chinese language in the survey. Reach out to [email protected] to update your address.


It's really hard to put down in words how we feel here behind the scenes, being so close to the actual fulfilment after everything that's happened in the past few months. Here's an artistic rendition of the current state of mind* of Federico, our logistics manager:

Production… No, wait: Shipment update!

Hello Heroes!

We’re running a bit late on our monthly update but we have very good news: the stock was finally picked up from the factory and we also already booked the ships that will bring it to our fulfillment hubs!


The EU stock (that includes Europe and the “rest of the world” shipments) will be delivered to Fulfilment Europe, our German hub. It’ll travel on the CMA CGM ANTOINE DE ST EXUPERY

We were assured no baobab trees were involved in this shipment

The US stock (that covers USA and Canada) will be delivered to Quartermaster Logistics, our USA hub. It’ll travel on the GSL TEGEA.

Try to spot the Dungeon Fighter container!

Due to the unpredictability of sea travels we’ll not be able to give you clearer, fixed dates at the moment. It usually takes at least four or five weeks for the ships to cross the seas and reach their destination ports, and then you’ll have to factor in the ship unloading time, the customs inspection etc. Once it leaves the port, the stock needs to get transported to our hub, checked, counted, packed and then finally… Shipped to you! Don’t worry, we’ll publish an update as soon as we’re ready to start the general fulfilment process.


As for the China, Asia and Australia/New Zealand stock, since it travels by truck from the factory it should arrive safely at our Asian hub CFC by next week.


Double check your addresses!

In the meantime, please double check your Pledge Manager survey and update your shipping information if needed. You have time up until MAY 26, then the address will be locked down and it’ll be very difficult to change it again. We need to provide this information to the hub in advance so they can insert it in their systems and perform a quick fulfilment process, so make sure to double check everything!

Production Update: Gallifreyan Style

Hello Heroes!

First of all no, this is not an April’s Fool joke, we are waaaay too mature for that.

After the latest changes we got the final Collector’s Edition box set shipped at the office and we just want to share it with you all: 

Dungeon Fighter is a game we hold really close to our hearts, and seeing it in these new luxurious editions is such a joy! We’ll admit the Collector’s Edition especially stands on its own in terms of coolness: this was created following your suggestion during the campaign and we’ll never ever regret producing it!

Well, to be fair, it was a really, really hard task, design wise, to make everything fit inside. You can see how compact it is when compared to the four Themed Boxes in this pic: 

Yes, that’s one DENSE box indeed!

Even though only the four Stand-alone Expansion boxes are shown in this picture, the compact size of the Collector’s Box becomes even more impressive if you consider that it can also hold the components of the Core Box you’ll be receiving for free with your pledges… That’s the contents from 5 regular boxes neatly packed into a single one! It is also comparatively small, with a size of 30 x 30 x 16 cm. Just for reference, a classic "Ticket to Ride" box is sized around 30 x 30 x 7 cm.


As for the rest, we prepared a nice gallery just to make you suffer a bit more: 

We know it’s a pain to see such treasures and not be able to immediately reach out to your shelf to hold them in your craving hands (what, is it just us? Ourrr precioussssss!). We might have good news in that regard so off to the…


Production Update

The factory reports that the production process is almost done, and they’ll soon start the packing process. This is the final phase of the production, where everything is put in cartons and on pallets, ready to be shipped out! They expect the stock to be ready for the ships by roughly April 15. In the meantime, we’ll work to book the containers that will take the stock to our international hubs in the USA and EU. Asian stock will be transported to our Asian hub via truck. We’ll update you with that information as soon as we have it, most probably in the next update.

Please note that things at the factory are going very smoothly at the moment, but the situation in China is getting complicated by yet another recrudescence of the pandemic and the consequent new government lockdown, and this could affect ship availability and delivery times, unfortunately. Rest assured we are monitoring the situation closely.
